Miami Bike
La sencillez de las formas no es casual, en todo momento se tomaron como referencia estética y conceptual las Miami Beach Cruiser, las bicicletas custom que recorren las avenidas de Miami Beach y que cuyo minimalismo ha inspirado a más de un preparador como Christian. De ahí que la Love Bike tenga pocos elementos, los necesarios, pero muy trabajados. Cada una de la partes ha sido diseñada o elegida, tratada con mimo y encajada como una pieza de puzzle dentro de un conjunto perfecto. Un chasis, home made, limpio de soportes, de forma fluida, moldeado hasta parecer de una sola pieza y delicadamente pintado de un blanco roto y motivos en oro viejo, contiene el motor S&S de estética Shovelhead, de sabor vintage
pero de prestaciones actuales. Un motor que con sus más de 1.500 centímetros cúbicos da, por seguro, una respuesta inmediata a la mano derecha de Ami. Los atrasados mandos de pie permiten que las velocidades se engranen mediante un lujoso shifter en la caja abierta Baker y
transmitan mediante una cadena movimiento a la rueda trasera. Su carburador filtra el aire mediante una verdadera obra de orfebrería y elimina los gases a través de tubos recubiertos de amianto que, además de seguir sus sinuosas formas y otorgarle ese look clásico, evita que suba todo el calor al conductor. La carrocería tan exquisita como el resto sigue con la línea minimalista, un estrecho guardabarros trasero de West Eagle cubre el neumático de perfil bajo, rompe la longitunalidad del chasis y pone en
relieve el precioso y pequeño asiento de piel, obra del señor Ballard. La otra pieza que define es el doble depósito fabricado en los talleres SPS, SuckerPunch Sallys, unido mediante las flores de lis de la placa que reza el nombre del estudio “Love Hate”, y que hace juego con el pequeño depósito que contiene el aceite. Este V-Twin ha necesitado 18 meses para mostrarnos su belleza que, como un tatuaje, se declara eterna… |
Miami Bike
The simplicity of the form is no coincidence. elements. Each and every part has been designed and selected, treated with loving care and fitted like a piece of a puzzle to a perfect whole. A home-made frame, free of support and with fluid form, molded until it looks like a single piece and delicately painted in antique white, with motifs in gold leaf, holds
the S&S Shovelhead motor, which has a vintage flavor with modern features. This is an engine that, with its more than 1500cc, no doubt gives an immediate response to Ami’s right hand. The rear foot controls activate the gears in the luxurious Baker shifter and drive the rear wheel with its chain. The air is filtered through the carburetor, a real piece of craftsmanship, expelling the fumes through its asbestos-covered tubing, which
in addition to its sinuous forms, giving the bike that classic look, prevents the heat from reaching the rider.
